Hi all,
Long time user, first time poster.
Could anybody help me understand the following or maybe point me in the right direction how to ...
The branch view (contents of all subfolders) or even my normal directory listing tab does not refresh after I change some properties of a file (via a powershell script in my case). Refreshing the list would be an option but refreshing a branch view means a refresh and reenabling the branch view again. If I change the location of the file then the listings refresh. I would like for the branch view to auto-refresh when one of the dates is changed (creation date, modified, last access).
Regards,
Pascal

Re: Refreshing of branch view
Branch view and search results are not automatically refreshed/updated because they are potentially lengthy, and thus resource-intensive, operations.

Re: Refreshing of branch view
Ahh OK thanks so far .... but that does not explain why my normal directory listing is not refreshed. What triggers a (normal) file list refresh because that also does not seem to work.

If you make changes to the file system with another program, make sure that "Configuration" -> "Options..." -> "Refresh" -> "Auto-Refresh when the file system changes" -> "Don't react to updates while in the background" is disabled, and that all the other options are enabled That might help.

Re: Refreshing of branch view
AHA! That was the missing puzzle piece ... after disabling that option it worked ... also in the branch view. Thanks so much.
