Vertical buttonbar: Better separator between icons

the default margin between two icons is way to large in my opinion. too much wasted space - maybe a separator
like in the regular buttonbar? (i read that the current implementation is just a 1-icon-horizontal bar for each item with an empty bar as seperator, but still...)

something like this perhaps:

Yes, I just found out that there is a problem at my Internet provider, with access to numerous sites - apparantly Imgur.com is one of them.

By default it should be the same type of separator for both button bars, I think.
