Crash when opening non anonymous FTP site
TC 11 reproducably crashes when i try to open FTP access to my website. Its a user/password encoded access, protecxted by TC's master password.
The master password is accepted. When trying to connect TC crashes.

Which version exactly? 11.00 ?
Does it happen with 64-bit TC and with 32-bit TC?
Re: Crash when opening non anonymous FTP site
And what are your TC settings for the account?

Re: Crash when opening non anonymous FTP site
Not confirmed with any of my sites, so I need more information.
1. What do you mean with "crashes"? Does it show an error message, e.g. about an access violation? Or does it just vanish?
2. If it shows an error message, please post it here. You can copy it with Ctrl+C if the error is from Total Commander itself
3. If it just vanishes, I need some kind of stack trace.
For 3, you can use the tool Procdump to create one:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/dd996900.aspx
1. Create new directory c:\dumps
2. Create a lnk file of procdump.exe or procdump64.exe (for 64-bit Windows)
in Total Commander with Ctrl+Shift+F5, e.g. procdump.lnk
3. Open the properties of the lnk file with Alt+Enter
4. Change the command from c:\path\procdump.exe to
"c:\path\procdump.exe" -ma -i c:\dumps
5. Important: Click on "Advanced" and check option "As administrator"
6. Run procdump with this link file
7. Wait until the crash occurs.
8. Send me the dump file from c:\dumps.

Sorry for the late reply.
The TC window simply disappears when trying to connect, no error message whatsoever.

A month ago or so with TC v10 I could connect to the FTP server without problems.
Connection with WinSCP is possible — explicit SSL/TLS, port 21.

Re: Crash when opening non anonymous FTP site
Just rename file libeay32.dll for testing. TC can connect now with windows internal functions.
BTW: libeay32.dll seems to be outdated (1.0.2.8 ).

Re: Crash when opening non anonymous FTP site
I would try with openssl 3 from here:
https://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html
The light version is sufficient. After installing, copy the files
libssl-3-x64.dll
and
libcrypto-3-x64.dll
to the Total Commander directory.

Thanks, it works like a charm with OpenSSL.
