Does anyone know a way to open a selection of files? An example would be if I want to open multiple code files in my editor program. What I want is to be able to select those files in the lister panel and then press a hotkey to open all selected files in the editor?
Any help would be appreciated. If this can't be done, could it be possible by writing a plugin? I would find this very useful and would write the plugin if it is possible but I'm not sure how to go about it.

Erm.... when I select multiple files (same extension, I must add) and press F4 to open them in SciTe or UltraEdit (I also have ChoiceEditor associated with F4) they always open all at the same time.
Must add, these are "tabbed" editors, I notice it doesn't work with Notepad, there only the first one opens.

Try to use Choice Editor:
http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/ChoiceEditor.html
It allows assigning different editors for different extensions for opening by F4, setting multiple editors for the same extension and opening all the selected files at once.
