Yes, it matters. The fix was to prevent queuing of beep sounds to prevent that a beep sound is played later when you are doing something else. Oh, I found the reason why there is a normal beep: I'm using a different function when you press Shift+F2 vs. when you click on "Previous difference", while I use the same function for "Next difference" (plus extra code within the line). I only added the delayed beep to "Previous difference" and "Next difference", but not to Shift+F2.
