I am having this issue after my device updated from Android 12 to 13. Can you please provide the link to the thread, or describe how you removed the update to the "Files" app?zonkius2 wrote: 2023-10-28, 11:07 UTC Addendum: I found in another thread that we should remove the updates to the “Files” app. Lo and behold, now all file managers can access Android/data. The “Files” app now has version t_frc_doc_330443000. What a mess ...

don't know where, but it's easy. Open Android Settings, Apps, search for"Dateien", or "Files", there could be two apps. Tap on it, and, if it has three dots on the top right, tap on it, and select "remove" all updates, or similar. That's all. After this, all my filemanager could suddenly access android/data

I was able to "remove" updates, but TotalCommander still cannot access /Andriod/Data folders.zonkius2 wrote: 2023-11-01, 18:56 UTC don't know where, but it's easy. Could you describe how it went for you in the current beta? So far I haven't received any feedback, so it would be helpful to know whether Total Commander detected the restricted files app, and sent you to the correct property page of the app to uninstall the update.

Run it. When I open Android folder It is ask for remove Files updates and request permition for access to android/data folder installed apps link. All the same for android/obb folder.

Re: TC 3.41 on Android 12 suddenly lost access to subs of /Android/data, just like Android 13
Hi all. Solved the problem with lack of access to Android/data. After the manipulations below, there is read and write access in the form we are all familiar with, but only until the next reboot. Maybe it will be relevant and useful for someone..
So, I have a smartphone with Android 12 on board (stock, no root).
1. I have Total Commander (3.60b2d)
2. Installed Shizuku (13.5.4.r1050) from Google Play and launched the service, having previously enabled Wi-Fi debugging (see instructions for Shizuku inside the application itself)
3. Then I went to TC to Android/data and voila - I clicked on the folder and gave permission to Shizuku.
I hope it works out for you too.
Thank you for attention.
