Feature Request: Multiple Params for button

Post by *robinsiebler »

I have several programs that I have buttons for. Due to various limitations in TC, I actually have to have more than one button for a program.

For instance, If I want to open multiple files in ConTEXT and they are all in one pane, I have to invoke lst2str in one manner but if I have files selected in both panes, I have to invoke lst2str in a differrent manner.

It would be nice if, instead of having 2 buttons, I could invoke lst2str in one way by clicking the button and in another way by holding down Ctrl and clicking the button.

Wouldn't it be more convenient to introduce a new variable e. g. %B that contains both %N and %M?

Thus one could use %B and get a list with selected files from both panels.

Yes it would, but that was just an example. I have other instances where I want to perform two different actions with the same tool, so I have to have 2 buttons.
