OT: Disable item in context menu

Post by *Leif »

Sorry for this off topic subject, but I need help...
Is it possible to disable the item "Use as wallpaper" from the context menu in IE? If so, how? I need the other items in that menu, though.

:) Good evening,
- The most times, this entry comes from a “offhandedness”, a program which sets it silently… Especially some image viewers.
- Try to find and disable this "Option" in the guilty viewer.
- Whether such an option doesn't appear, it's necessary to rummage in the Registry, but I've not the trick in sight at this moment, sorry.

 Regards,
Claude

A search in Google gave the following promising links:
http://www.systweak.com/asov2/Security_-_Internet_Explorer_-_NT_2000_XP.asp
http://www.salfeld.com/body_features.htm
http://www2.sunysuffolk.edu/mandias/tips/prohibit_desktop_wallpaper.html
The last one is especially funny and clever, although not exactly what you want.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Yeah, I like the idea too, it can be used elsewhere also, when having similar problems.
