Problem with cursor disappering when using Quickview panel
For a long time I've been using an older TC version (early 10.x version) with lots of plugins. Recently I've decided to configure 11.x version from scratch and minimize the use of plugins.
Unfortunately I've stumbled upon a problem, which I (surprisingly) didn't experience with my old, bloated configuration, which I had removed already. My problem is very similar to the one described in this old thread.
What I do: 1) open a folder with multiple PDFs on the left panel; 2) put cursor on one of them 3) hit button, which executes cm_SrcQuickview command
Current TCs behavior: Lister displays PDF file on the right panel (utilizing slister plugin), focus on the lest panel gets lost immediately and the cursor disappears.
My bloated version allowed me to use keyboard arrow keys for switching between PDF files and quickly viewing their contents but now it doesn't work — after every selection focus switches to the right panel and I don't even see which file is being previewed because cursor isn't displayed. I can find where the cursor is only if I hit left breadcrumbs panel to bring the whole left panel into focus.
I've tried to roll back to the latest 10.x version without any success — it behaves similar to 11.x version.
So, is this a bug or did I somehow misconfigured my TC?

SLister uses SumatraPDF.
This is a known problem, if you have updated SumatraPDF to the newer 3.5 version.
You can use the latest 3.4.6 version.

Downgrading SumatraPDF totally fixed it. Thank you so much! I feared that this is something much more serious.
Do you think this is going to be fixed someday? I'm ok with using an older version, especially considering that slister hadn't been updated in ages, just curious.

There is an entry in the SumatraPDF forum for this problem, which is not SLister or TC related.AnimusAstralis wrote: 2023-11-24, 12:39 UTC Downgrading SumatraPDF totally fixed it. Thank you so much! I feared that this is something much more serious.

It may take a long time to get fixed, but I have no problem with version 3.4.6
The age of the SLister plugin doesn't matter, it's only a framework to call the application inside a TC Windows.

Unfortunately some Lister plugins steal the focus, there isn't anything I can do.

If you took a look at the postings you're answering, you would see that there is no setting or tweak.cyh wrote: 2023-11-26, 14:06 UTC I had a similar issue when I switched to a newer TC version. Check TC settings and the forum for solutions. It might be a settings tweak that can fix it.

I banned cyh for spamming. He first posted a post with blatant spam including a link to a certain website. Then he posted several posts which didn't make sense of were not helpful and were probably created using AI.Horst.Epp wrote: 2023-11-26, 14:54 UTCIf you took a look at the postings you're answering, you would see that there is no setting or tweak.cyh wrote: 2023-11-26, 14:06 UTC I had a similar issue when I switched to a newer TC version.
