Ultra TC Editors 6.42 Final

Hi folks,

Quick question:

I have TC installed in a custom location and my wincmd.ini is in that same folder, not in the normal place (user........GHISLER)

How do i tell Ultra where my TC exe is?

Ultra TC usually figures out to use the TC instance from which it is started.

If Ultra TC is not started from TC it will use the wincmd.ini that is stated in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ghisler\Total Commander
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ghisler\Total Commander
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Ghisler\Total Commander

Gibt es noch eine andere Download Quelle?
via Google landet man nur immer bei totalcmd.net
bzw deren nicht Funktionirende Download Quelle?

The Google Drive link behind the bit.ly link in the first post of this thread works fine. Pretty sure other people have the latest version and could upload it to help out. Maybe petermad could add the file(s) to his collection of TC utils and plugins.

NOTICE! if you use Hotkeys Editor.exe to change or set hotkeys, ALL parameters for cm_commands that you might have set with TC 11x will be LOST! The Hotkeys Editor still works fine if you don't use parameters with your shortcuts.

Oк I am missing something - or these hotkeys by default also do exist - but they were not noted in your file/
and updates for 11.50 will follow upon the release date?

it is there:

cm_SelectAllFiles = Ctrl + Shift + Num +
cm_SelectFiles = Shift + Num +
cm_ExchangeSelFiles = Shift + Num *

These are not included because the shortcut does different things depending on the setting of "Configuration" -> "Operation" -> "Selection (with Num+)" - but the command always does the same.

What you write is only correct when "Selection (with Num+)" is set to: "Also select directories".

Try and change the option to "Select files only" and then test the commands against the keybord shortcuts - then you will se that they act differently.

I am not sure to understand totally this notice. Can you explain me a bit, and how to reproduce?
