Hi there,
when deleting directories, TC first determines the size of the directory (or what else is TC doing, before it starts the deletion ?). This might take quite a while before the deletion begins.
Is there a way to make TC fasten the beginning of deletion (best would be immediately start deletion after pressing "Del" ...)?
Any tips welcome ...

Hello !
- Please, verify the status of the tick-box : Configuration >> Operation >> “Calculate space occupied by sub-directories” >>"Before copying/deleting".
- Remove the tick if it's present, that might speed up the handling…
Kind regards,
Claude

hoppfrosch,
Also, if you don't use comments, you could try the Explorer delete method: Configuration - Options - Copy/Delete - Use Explorer delete method.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
