How trick do you use if you want to que a dir at the end in the file window (while sort-by-name is applied) ?
Example dirs ("Others" dir wanted at the end):
Bakeries
Fruits
Vegetables
Zoo food

This is not possible as far as I know. It would be weird too, because it would break sorting and probably leave people wondering why sorting isn't applies to all objects shown in the list.

On a FAT drive (USB-sticks are often FAT formatted) you can use Unsorted view (Ctrl+F7), then the files and directories will be shown in the order they were put in the folder - so move all files and folder temporarily to another dir, and move them back in the order you want.
See https://tcmd.madsenworld.dk/fatsorting.png for an example.

Re: que a dir at the end in the file window
I'm not sure about what exactly you're trying to accomplish, but you could add a custom column with [=tc.comment]
Then add a comment to the folder with Ctrl+Z, giving it a number like 1, then sort descending by "comment"
This way you could move down several folders with 2,3,4 ...
Re: que a dir at the end in the file window
Sorting by name has to be followed. Adding some inconspicuous symbol in name is acceptable, but which one, since I did not find any symbol after "z" exept omega which looks not so inconspicuous.
Re: que a dir at the end in the file window
If I have categorized and uncategorized items, logically uncategorized would be after categorized as in my example. Or sometimes there are less important dirs which begins with "a" and I want it to have at the end, not at the begining. But I do not want to sort special. I want them to be there normally. To move item to the begining I can use any symbol (as first character in name), but what can I do to move item to the end?
Re: que a dir at the end in the file window
Optically the most pleasing, but also a little bit dangerous, would be to use a Non-breaking space:
e.g.:
Some Folder
Another Folder
You can enter it by holding [Alt] and typing [2][5][5] on the numpad.
There are other ways to enter it, If you don't have a numpad (Hex: A0).
Re: que a dir at the end in the file window
The problem with using non-letter characters like non-breaking space, is that they will be sorted at the top, unless you are using sorting "Strictly by numerical code".
If you want to use "Natural sorting:" alphabetical and numbers" then:
ΩOthers - Greek capital letter Omega U+03A9
ιOthers - Greek small letter Iota U+02B9
ϯOthers - Coptic small letter Dei U+03EF
ҩOthers - Cyrillic small letter Abkahsian Ha
ѳOthers - Cyrillic small letter Fita U+0473
ѻOthers - Cyrillic small letter Round Omega U+047B
If you want to use "Natural sorting:" alphabetical and numbers" then:
- you have to use some non-latin letters like omega.
- how it looks depends on the font that is used for the file lists.
- the sorting is highly dependent on the language used in Windows
