When I create CRC-checksum with TC, default filename editing selection is full path with extension
although it does not need to re-write the extension because it is determined by selecting CRC algorithm.

I think it is better to follow the same option setting for renaming as following :

'configuration > options > operation > select only the filename when renaming (not the extension)'

Just like in the copy/move dialog the F5 and F6 keys can be used here to toggle the selection between full path, only basename (filename without extension) and filename with extension.
