Good day all,
I have noticed an issue (that might or might not be TC related, mind) where TC crashes whenever I try to overwrite a file on a Windows Network share (SMB).
The program is sort of "blinking" and the Task Manager reports "not responding" that also blinks in and out.
If I delete the distant file first, no crash.
I'm using TC 11.03 64-bit on Windows 10 22H2. The copied file is a .PDF one.
Anyone noticed the same issue ?
Cheers

Do you let the overwrite prompt dialog show thumbnails? Does the issue occur regardless of file type, like with text files?
NB: What you describe is an application hang not a crash.

Re: Crash when replacing file on a network (SMB) share
Sounds like something is trying to access the remote PDF file, maybe a virus scanner or thumbnail extractor?
