The situation is like this, after the crash of Win8.1 in Total Commander x64 10.52, the Scan with COMODO Antivirus context menu item stopped working. At the same time, everything works in Windows itself through this context menu.
What could be the reason?
I reinstalled TC, but it didn't help. On pure TC, the same nonsense...
I'll add that when you click on this item, TC seems to hang - it stops responding to anything, but the task manager shows that it works normally. There are no threads in the waiting chain.
I don't quite understand, but how does this context menu work through the vehicle? Is this the same visible menu? And the call goes the same way as through the Windows Explorer...

That has noting to do with TC.
Many Anti-Virus tools only show their context menus only in Explorer.
You can try to renme Total Commnder to Explorer.exe and see what happens.

So the thing is that I see this item in the context menu via TC - but when I click on it, nothing happens except TC freezes. Before that, everything worked and I scanned files this way.
At the same time, the context menu item "Run in COMODO Conteiner" works perfectly from TC.

Re: The antivirus context menu has stopped working in TC [help]
The moment you click on a context menu item, Total Commander passes the command to Windows, and then it's out of reach. It then depends on the called program whether it works or not. Some only expect to be called from Explorer and fail when called from other programs. Some context menu extensions don't work when launched from a Total Commander running "As Administrator", because Explorer itself never runs "As Administrator".
