TC 8.51a quick search works only partially

Hey.

I have a problem with the "quick search" function.
Ive set ALT+letters option anbd for some letters it works - so the mini-popup shows up and I cane filter folders/files names.

But.. if I use ALT+R - it takes me directly to the neighborhood - so to "\".

One another example: ALT+T takes me directly to the "All Control Panels Elements".

What is wrong with this version ? Or what did I set wrong that it does not work properly ?

With a few other version I have (7.02a, 7.50a, 8.52a) it works like a charm.

Do you have commands associated with these hotkeys in Options > Misc > Redefine hotkeys?

NB: An update to a more recent version is free and shouldn't be a problem. Even if you use TC 8.x for a reaon (like I do), why bother with 8.51 if 8.52 works fine?
