I frequently need to transfer files via SFTP to a rooted box. If I need the file in the areas I need root access, it fails when I try to do it directly via the plugin. I can copy the file(s) to say the Downloads directory and then copy them from there to the protected areas and it works fine. Is this the expected behaviour?
Thanks.

Re: Rooted android device and SFTP plugin
This question should go to the maker of the server software. Total Commander does not have any such restrictions, so it must be restricted by the server.

Re: Rooted android device and SFTP plugin
I had a few minutes while copying some files and tried the above scenario copying via SFTP to a rooted android box with File Manager Plus and it copied to directly to protected store fine with no issues.
I'd be happy to gather any info you would find necessary to debug this. Please advise what you would need. Thanks.
