Total Commander and TortoiseSVN's "right-drag move"

Post by *lpr »

Dear all

Windows Explorer supports the "right-drag move" to easily move files and folders to another location in the same SVN/TortoiseSVN working copy.

What is the easiest way to achieve this functionality with Total Commander?

Thanks for any clarification.

There's two ways to do this:
  • Begin dragging a selection with the left mouse button onto a directory and before you drop it, click the right mouse button as well (while still holding the left button)
  • Just like the first option but instead of pressing the right mouse button you can use the Shift key on your keyboard to move the selected files/folders.
Or do you mean to call the menu that appears when dropping a selection with the right mouse button? AFAIK that's not possible.

My workaround was to simply create a custom button to do the same thing.
