Can't edit and delete files when open in Google Gallery app

Hello,

I can't edit or delete files from galleries (for ex. in Google Gallery) when I open picture/photo from Total Commander (actual version 3.50d ) .

I tried Simple File Manager and there when I open any picture/photo , there are both edit and trash bin icons.

I think, this "issue" I have in Total Commander since the beginning of my use of it.

Confirmed.

I I open a picture from the DCIM\\Camera folder in TC in either Google Photos or Samsung Gallery , the edit and delete icons are missing from both apps.

I just use a normal Android intent to open the file.
Maybe simple file manager still passes the old file: urls to called apps? You can try this by defining an internal ascociation where you turn of the checkbox option "content://url".

If I check file://url (i don't have there content://) in Open with menu, one app disappear from the list and in Google Photos I have same result. Both buttons still missing.

That doesn't change anything for me for either

I tried it on Android 4.4.4 , 5.0 , 7.0 , 8.0 , 11 and 13 . In all cases these two buttons missing in Google photos app.
But it's not a big problem for me. I am using Simple Gallery app and there are all buttons.
