You can only do this with an external scripting tool like AutoHotkey.

What if the quick view window is inactive? Sending a keystroke into it doesn't lead to anything.
With the implementation of the requested command, the user himself would be able to choose the desired key.

The way you have used the quoting tags in multiple posts is very confusing.
This post for example:
If you want to address someone you can click on the *username at the left above someone's post. For example if you click on *ghisler(Author) then "2[b]ghisler(Author)[/b]" will appear in the quick reply box.
Please use this method, or if you want to include an empty quote, put your response below the closing quote tag.
So either use this:

No problem. I fixed your posts now, except in this thread. The problem was that you used the code [quote] to begin a quote, but you did not include the code [/quote] to close the quote. I added these now.
