Hi, my problem is that the Alt+F7 shortcut doesn't work for me. However, if I switch to a newly created account, it works there. I can't explain it. And if it were just one machine, so be it, but I have the same problem on a company PC where I can't create a new user account, but my colleague doesn't have a problem with it, and we have the same programs and the same restrictions from the corporation. Both are running Win 11. Both versions of tcmd are 64bit. And this problem is not new, but I've been dealing with it for a long time, so version 11.03 or beta 11.50 don't matter because it didn't work in version 10 either. Can someone please advise me? I have a local user account on my private PC and a Microsoft account on my work PC. I tried reinstalling the program and choosing the option for all users, but that didn't help.
Thanks.

You have a graphic card software which assigns this hotkey globally.
Search the forum for it.

It's likely some other application has registered this hotkey system-wide. Search for GeForce Experience here in the forum to find older threads and posts about it and how to disable the global registration in that particular software. There's also information about how to find out which (background) program has registered that hotkey in that older posts, in case GFE doesn't apply to your case.

As said, the hotkey have been hooked by another application.
You can assign another hotkey if you want in Preferences / Configuration / Misc
The command is cm_SearchFor if you want the search being not modal, you can use cm_SearchStandalone.
Give a look Here to get a list of tool to help you to find what is taking the hotkey.

If you cannot change the behavior of the driver or other program, you can install the Twinkey plugin (see ReadMe), then run TwinkUtil.exe from the plugin folder, check the option "Enable System Hotkeys Redefinition (Alt+Tab; Ctrl+Esc etc...)" on the "Miscellaneous" page, then on the "Keyboard Mapping" enter "cm_sea" in the "Filter" field, select the desired command (cm_SearchFor or cm_SearchStandalone), click on the green square, press Alt+F7, confirm if a dialog appears, and click OK. This will completely solve your problem.

There is also a free tool "Hotkey Detective" which allows you to find you which program registered the hotkey system-wide:
