Unexpected deselection when continuing fast filtering

1. Ctrl+A
2. Ctrl+S
3. Press the letter that the names in the list begin with.
4. Click on the list.
5. Ctrl+S or if "Letters - with search dialog" is checked in the settings, click the second letter present in some name or the same one.

The selection disappears.

Confirmed behaviour - but I don't know if it is a bug or a "feature". I tested som old versions of TC and they have the same behaviour

It's not intentional: I reload the file list when re-opening the quick filter dialog because the quick filter edit box changes. But there is no change since the last filter modification, so reloading the list isn't necessary here.

I didn't even doubt it. Here I often touch on old problems that others did not pay attention to before.
