However, there are several ways to transfer search results from 'Everything' to Total Commander.

For a long time now, I have mainly searched directly in 'Everything' because I can experiment in the search box
and the result is displayed immediately (in real time).

Usually this is enough for me, and if I want to transfer the result in Everything to
Total Commander on a separate tab, then all I need to do is click a button in Total Commander.

My current working method is something like this:
- Press the 'Pause' key -> 'Everything' opens
- Search directly in 'Everything'
- If necessary, transfer search results to TC, e.g. as follows
  - by clicking a button in TC -> suitable for multiple/many search results in 'Everything'
  - double-click on the path in 'Everything' 1.5 -> cursor is positioned on the file in TC or the folder is opened/displayed in TC
  - ... OR double-click or Ctrl+Enter on the folder in 'Everything' -> the content of the folder is displayed in TC
- Should the number of transferred files not match for some reason (e.g. hidden files, result omissions in EV or TC),
  I would execute the same search as in 'Everything' in Total Commander, using the prefix ed: or ev:
