Updating registration to an another name

Hi all,

I'm transitioning genders, male to female, and I'd like to update my Total Commander registration in order to match my updated ID. Since I bought a TC license before I transitioned, it's stuck with my dead name which I don't use anymore.

Is it possible to update my license to a new, correct name?

Probably. Do something similar as this (send the correct name too of course ):

No problem at all, you're not the first to get a new key for that reason! Just send me your old and new name and address by e-mail to support at ghisler dot com. I wish you all the best with your transition.

Changing the name in the key is free of charge, I change them regularly for people marrying and adapting the name of their partner, companies getting bought etc.

Thanks, do I have to provide the proof of my name change? I'm rather wary of sending random people my personal documents due to safety reasons.
