Confirmed you updated to version 1.39.10. Thanks.
Re: Total Commander Knowledge Base (Wiki)
MediaWiki maintenance release 1.39.11 was released recently. Not only that, but this branch has become a legacy version (still supported though). The new LTS (Long Term Support) version is now 1.43. See https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Version_lifecycle
I suggest to wait a couple of weeks, then update to version 1.39.11, then wait a couple weeks again and then upgrade to version 1.43.

Re: Total Commander Knowledge Base (Wiki)
I'm getting notifications by e-mail for new MediaWiki versions, so you only need to remind me if I don't update for several weeks. I normally wait 1-2 weeks with wiki software updates, because sometimes there is a minor update immediately after an update to fix bugs caused by the update.
The mailing said that the new LTS version 1.43 isn't available yet:

MediaWiki 1.43, the next LTS after MediaWiki 1.39 is due to be released in
the near future. It will be supported until at least December 2027.

I understand, I meant to inform about the currently used branch becoming a legacy version and to suggest a strategy for upgrading to the non legacy LTS version.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2024-12-23, 11:11 UTC I'm getting notifications by e-mail for new MediaWiki versions, so you only need to remind me if I don't update for several weeks.

Re: Total Commander Knowledge Base (Wiki)
Confirmed, seems to work OK.
Re: Total Commander Knowledge Base (Wiki)
I noticed you did not update the extensions PluggableAuth and Auth_phpBB.
These should be updated together. The extension PluggableAuth mentions that the configuration variable $wgPluggableAuth_Config is required in version 6.0 and later, but I believe this is handled by the newer versions of Auth_phpBB. So I don't think it is needed to change configuration settings. Probably you simply need to download and install the PluggableAuth version for the MediaWiki branche you are using, and download and install the latest Auth_phpBB version at the same time.

Re: Total Commander Knowledge Base (Wiki)
Are there any security fixes which make it necessary to update these extensions? I'm reluctant to update them because it could break the phpbb integration.

Re: Total Commander Knowledge Base (Wiki)
I have no idea, but according to the PHPBB_Auth Version Compatibility Matrix the versions you are using now are no longer compatible with the MediaWiki version you are using.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2025-02-21, 09:13 UTC Are there any security fixes which make it necessary to update these extensions?

Re: Total Commander Knowledge Base (Wiki)
OK, I have updated the two for both the English and German wikis, and login still seems to work fine. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.
