- Start an unregistered Total Commander as administrator.
- Navigate to a WINCMD.KEY license file and double-click it.
- Click Yes to install the license.
- Total Commander is still running in elevated mode, but the title bar no longer shows that.

Just restart the Tc in this case. Who cares.

I can confirm it, but I don't think it's worth fixing. The title bar is modified in a rather complex way after loading the key normally (e.g. showing user name etc).

I think you are underappreciating the importance of this bug. Did you consider this:
- Many people may be unaware of this possibility to install the key file, but that may change in the future. It may become more common for users to use this functionality.
- People do not use this functionality often, but it is normal functionality of the program which consistently causes this issue.
- The fact that the title bar does not correctly show the elevation status, only in this scenario, makes it more important and not less important. Because it makes that people rely on the title bar to correctly show elevation status.
- It's easy to miss that the title bar no longer correctly shows the elevation status.
- People may be returning to Total Commander after a break and not remember the program's elevated status. This break may last days because of nowadays laptop use where the laptop is put in sleep mode rather than shut down.
- The consequences can be substantial. It may lead to all kinds of issues, including unintended system changes and security risks.
- The elevated status extends to processes launched from within Total Commander, which amplifies the potential consequences.
