Green indicaton for files/folders backed in G drive
I was wondering if there in an indication in TC (similar to the small green circle in Windows File Explorer) for files/folders backed in the G drive.

Could you please explain what you mean with that? I checked in
C:\Users\<user name>\Google Drive-Streaming
and the files don't have a green cycle, they all have a small cloud overlay in both Total Commander and Explorer.

What i mean is this: if I install Google drive for desktop and backup/sync some of my folders/folders to the G drive, then those folders/files automatically show with a green circle in Windows File Explorer. Those which were not backed-up show nothing. Those which were meant to backup/sync but cannot be for some reason show with a red circle. This only works if Google drive for desktop is installed and is a useful feature

I cannot reproduce that. What settings do you use in the Google Drive for desktop program? There should be an icon in the system tray near the clock to configure it. I'm using the default "Stream files".
Maybe you just have overlay icons disabled? It's in Total Commander main menu, Configuration - Options - Icons.

Indeed, it was my configuration. How silly of me! Thank you.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2025-01-10, 09:00 UTC I cannot reproduce that. What settings do you use in the Google Drive for desktop program?
