Pin a file in TC

Post by *pgpg »

I've searched the forum but there does not seem to be an answer as far as *files* are concerned. Is there a way to pin a file (or more than a file) to the top of its associated directory?

Start the TwinkUtil.exe from the plugin dir.
There you can enable "Sticky Files", select the colors and assign hotkeys.

I am sorry if I'm asking so many stupid questions, but it's my first time doing this kind of thing. I did what you told me. I chose Shift+S for my hotkey to stick a file. But when I then press Shift+S on a file, nothing happens!

Did you fellow the instructions in the readme.html ?
This is necessary to get Twinkey loaded when TC starts,

From the read me:

Code: Select all

Installation
TWinKey has to be installed as content plugin. By default it will be loaded by the first explicit request. There is an option to enforce automatic loading on TC startup by creating custom coloring schema which is TWinKey dependent.
To do this follow the procedure below
Open TC Configuration dialog
Select "Color" from the navigation list on the left
Enable and click "Define Colors by file type" to open "Specify file type" dialog
Select "Add"
Select "Define"
Activate plugins tab
Choose "TWinKey" in the plugin combo
Choose "Order" in the property combo
Choose ">" in the OP combo and type 10000 in the value field
Select "Save" and write TWinKey (or any other name)
Select "Ok" on all open dialogs

The newly created coloring will not affect any existing coloring schemes but will cause TC to load the TWinKey automatically when TC starts.
All TWinKey settings are stored in the TWinKey.ini file. Although this file may be modified manually it is highly recommended to use the TWinKey Utilisator program instead.

All files (TWinKey.wdx, TWinKey.ini and TwinkUtil.exe) must be in the same directory.
