Hi folks,
Normally in TC, when faced with a folder full of folders (or other files), i can hit the home key on my keyboard, then type something, for example "The", and then i get a list pop up of all the folders beginning with "The".
Then i would use the arrow keys to select one item, then hit enter, and that would take me inside the selected folder.
But now, all of a sudden, what happens is that i hit enter, and the folder name appears in the input box at the bottom, and if i hit enter again, i get a "file not found" error message.
Damn, i guess i inadvertently change something, anyone have any suggestions how to get the old behavior back?
Thanks!

It sounds like you have pressed Ctrl+S while searching, so TC has shifted the Quick search from filtering to non filtering state, just press Ctrl+S again.

Thanks man, ctrl+s does indeed bring up the search box (same and the old behavior i was used to), but i was kinda used to just pressing "home".
Or in other words, pressing ctrl+s makes no difference to the behavior when i press the home button!

Judging by your description Quick search is set to Letter only.
Firstly, I think this function has nothing to do with Home - you may got used to it by convenience, but it's unnecessary for QS to work.
Secondly, since Ctrl+Enter copies the name of selected item to the command bar, my theory is that your Ctrl key is stuck
