TimeStamp Error in RC2

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Post by *Andreas85 »

The TimeStamp in all Files from RC2 is 2025 01 17. This was RC1

Timestamps inside the tc1151x32_64_rc2.exe installer identical to the rc1 ones

Post by *beb »

See the title.

Everything there is still dated as 2025-01-17 (including files changed since then: HISTORY.TXT, TOTALCMD.EXE, TOTALCMD64.EXE, TOTALCMD.CHM).

In my case, this just breaks my software update synchronization approach.

This is a duplicate. I will not re-issue RC2 for it, but I will of course fix it in the next release.

[TC 11.51rc2 x32_64] File Dates are identical to RC1

Post by *norfie² »

The file dates are identical to RC1 i.e. they are all from 2025-01-17 instead of 2025-01-22. It is not a real bug but it is a bit confusing.

Then you should rethink your update strategy as soon as possible. I really don't understand how one can rely solely on file/folder date/time these days (and this is not just the case here, but is clear from many other posts in the forum).
