GET A PUSH START FOR V6.50

Post by *pdavit »

Dear TC users,

As you all probably know, TC v6.50 is finally here! For your ease and as a means of making everyone as fast
as possible familiarised with the new version, here are some files that may probably attract your interest:

1. My updated menu file for v6.50 (changes: http://ice.prohosting.com/inornate/ ).
DOWNLOAD FROM: http://ice.prohosting.com/inornate/TCExtMenu.zip
Totalcmd.net: http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/TCExtMenu.html

2. Fully revised and updated with v6.50 complete changelog history of TC.
Remark: The text file included within this zip can also be found inside my menu package distribution above.
So, you can ignore this download if you've got my menu file above.
DOWNLOAD HERE: http://ice.prohosting.com/inornate/FullTCHistory.zip
Totalcmd.net: http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/FullTCHistory.html

Enjoy!

PS: Global list of all the above and more here: http://ice.prohosting.com/inornate/ (bookmark this!) ;)

Thank you!

For Pdavit's new menu file, you have to download the "sources" file.
The regular download link still has the old file.

Same here. There seems to be a problem. I've tried mozilla and opera, no difference.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

Sorry for that but this seems to be an incompatibility problem of my webspace provider and some settings within individual browsers.

For those experiencing problems try here as well:

Just disable your referrer-blockers (firewall, anti-banner tools, etc.)

You may find some while searching this forum. And just for a 'push start', here is the archive with some of them :)

Thx for the update, pdavit. :)
What happened to the monk?

Disc looks rather boring, don't you think? ;)

Thanks for coming back! 8)
TC is more addictive than drugs, isn't it?! ;)

Yeah! The monk lost his purity by joining the real world; disc looks boring indeed, I'll change it!

[edit]
Changed! Got this marvelous one from Neverwinter Nights. The best RPG game ever created!

The download links for German and French menu don't work, server answer is:
The file type you have requested (mnu) is invalid.
Seems that you should zip them to convince the server that they are valid. :)

Try the alternative site: http://www.angelfire.com/theforce/pdavit/
until I fix this. Thanks for reporting that.

:) Hello Panos !
- In the French menu, I disagree the word "focus", this doesn't exist in French.
- In the French Totalcmd.inc, there is :
cm_focusleft=4001;Activer la liste de gauche
cm_focusright=4002;Activer la liste de droite
While in the menu, you wrote :
MENUITEM "Focus sur fenêtre de &gauche", 4001
MENUITEM "Focus sur fenêtre de &droite", 4002
¤ Another :
POPUP "&Réseau"
MENUITEM "&Connections...", 512
Sorry, pretty spelling error, it should be Connexions in French.
¤ One more :
MENUITEM "&Installer driver LPT", 2301
MENUITEM "&Enlever driver LPT", 2302
Sorry again, this is not French. Must be :
…pilote de Port // (// for short)

¤ Not the usual word…
MENUITEM "&Fontes", 2124
"Fonte(s)" was used in the old traditional print works, it's unknown in the French Windows, and it's not meaningful for the most French-speaking users. The usual word in Windows Fr. and in the French TC is "Police(s) "
… and also a little something here and there…
Sorry again and again, for me it's a gobbledegook :P
