TortoiseCVS integration

Post by *mill »

Hi, I have found that new TCMD 6.5 supports overlay icons used also by TortoiseCVS and that is great.

Will be possilbe in future to add custom columns with information from Tortoise (CVS Revision, CVS Sticky Tag, CVS Status and CVS File Format) like in explorer ?

Install the plugin, restart TC, (read the plugin readme.htm)

Right click on the column header->configure custom column

Add New

Add a column and choose the information you want to appear (you can have more than one field in a column)...repeat this step....

Adjust column width and alignment

Validate

For CVS, I think you'll have to wait for the author (Lefteous)... in the readme, there is something about cvs...read it :)

For audio column or video you can use media.wdx or anytag.wdx ...

From the Readme (thanks franck8244 :) )
If TortoiseCVS is used an the directory C:\MyProject is under CVS control you may add this line to your ShellDetails.ini configuration file:

[Directories]
Dir_1=C:\MyProject

Now restart TotCmd and now you can add the fields.

Thanks it works.

My last question is, if it is possible to set autamatic switching of collumns set for specific folders and its subfolders

example:

1. directory CVS Projects - CVS columns set
2. directory MP3 - audio columns set
3. directory movies - video columns set
4. directory pics - pictures columns set
and the rest of folder will be dafault

I'm sorry. It's not possible. This is not a limitation of my plugin. It's a limitation of Total Commander. The only thing you can do is to set one custom column view per tab.
