General non-responsivness of upload manager (background)

As the topic states, when I upload to FTP the background transfer manager gets non-responsive, it lags, badly. Trying to click the checkbox is an exercise in futility.. as well as trying to change the speed limit. Actually even moving the window itself lags.

This is with TC6.5b10a, I don't remeber if I had this problem with 6.03.

Can someone try?

I tried to send a 170Mb file to my web server and it works fine...in the first few second it lags a bit but afterwards it was fine
