Hey....Thanx a lot for the new version.
I love the new allowed directory change tab option. But is there a way to return to the mother tab directory with one click after having switched to different directories , for instance mother tab is commander and you have changed directory in that tab multible times and want now to return to commander (fastest way I have found out is click on another tab, then click on commander and you are back)?
Also, the thumbnails are very cool but load quite slowly don't they?
The servant salamanda (<-don't like the look of it at all) also has this function and loads thumbnails a lot faster. Is there a way to speed things up in commander??

Yes, just click the "\" button near the drive buttons, or press Ctrl+\. This will bring you back, not to the drive root, but to the "mother" directory (as you called it
). Also there are:
1. cm_GoToLockedDir command that give you possibility to set your own hotkey on this action.
2. LockedGoToDriveRoot key in wincmd.ini (see help for details)

Mbwana,
Also, AFAIK Servant Salamander makes use of thumbs.db, whose structure isn't documented, AFAIK.
You could also try using TC's internal cache.

Depends on what filetype using what method you are trying to extract. Also, the thumbnails are very cool but load quite slowly don't they?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
