Is there a plan to fix this very legacy problem and use long paths everywhere?
(or maybe for compatibility reasons only use short paths when IT IS DETECTED that binary is a 16-bit app?)

I thought this was fixed by this:

.
07.01.25 Fixed: On 64-bit Windows, always assume that called programs can handle long file names (don't check whether the target program is 16-bit), e.g. when dropping a file to a button (32/64)

Sorry, it seems that it is really fixed, I've just tried with 11.55 and CMD/BAT/LNK buttons get long paths on %P%N and drop. Thanks!
