TC and Acrobat

Post by *yeellow »

Hello,

I upgraded Acrobat Reader to version 7 and I found some problems. I would like to open pdf in lister (preferably with pdf filter plugin) but _not_ in my browser. I prefer to save a file when I click on a link with pdf.

Before, with version 6 I managed to do so, now I can not. The problem is to force pdf filter to use Acrobat ActiveX but at the same time to keep the option "display pdf in browser" disabled.

Did anyone solve that problem?

Marcin

Using version 7 of the reader together with the IEView plugin is the best.

But can you set it up as I said? So I can view pdfs in TC and when I click on them in the browser they do not open in IE window, but SaveAs window appeares. It's quite tricky, but I know it worked (after some tries) with Acrobat 6. As I rememberd the option "Display in browser" (in Acrobat) was disabled. But still it opened in lister.

Regards,
Marcin
