"Channels (audio)" are not working in the 0.3b ... I always have 0 returns.

Small wishes:
- Use your own in file (different possible location) but not contplug.ini in wincmd.ini directory
- Add a setting in your file ini to open the setting dialog with the "locale" language (can be set manually)

Is there a way to find out if the avi is using the QPEL codec?

Could you add this feature?

That's because i have a divx dvd player (Kiss) that does'nt play divx movies which have the QPEL codec.

I was developing a similar plugin that shows the codec, fps, time, etc, but this one is 10 times faster. Now that i have found this one, i will stop my plugin's development. Are you usinfg VFW API?

I have already searched the net for where to find this information (QPEL)in the avi file, but without any success.

Note: This post is on Totalcmd.net either.

No. I try read information in file header. If fail - use DirectShow.

QPel is an option in eg DivX. You can check the presence of QPel with eg GSpot.

yes, you need to parse the mpeg4 headers in the (probably first) video frame
see the iso mpeg4 visual spec/draft (14496-2) or the ffmpeg source code
(h263.c)
