[OT] Best duplicate image finder

Post by *robinsiebler »

I am looking for a program that has the following features:

1. Finds *exact* duplicates
2. Optionally finds ~almost~ exact duplicates, i.e. slightly different pose or perhaps a logo.
3. Finds images that are the same but have a different resolution.
4. Makes it easy to choose which images are to be deleted.

I have ACDSee 6.0, which performs #1 quite nicely and fails miserably at #4.

Any suggestions?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

A free alternative is Dup Detector
I use it a lot, works good, although a pretty basic one, not too much options. Careful, the website is one of the worst i have ever seen ;-)
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!
