Background colors in internal File Compare?

Post by *szlori »

Is there a way to define background colors (instead of only text color) in the built-in file-compare of TC?
AFAIK there isn't, so could this be implemented easily?
I think visually is easier to spot the differences with different background color.

Another small request:
When jumping from one diff to another, could the current one be highlited?

Indeed there isn't - TC uses the colors defined in the control panel.

Well, I meant background color for the lines with differences.
Just the way you can set text colors for these.
But while the text colors show the exact difference, the background color would be on the whole line, pointing out the lines with differences.

And of course a generic back color would be nice too.

As for the "small request"
I know the focus is set on the current difference, but that is not visible if you navigate by pressing the buttons.
It would be nice, if the first line of the diff could also be hilited (ie. selected, like when you click on the line).
