For thumbnail mode over folders TC currently extracts the indexed items (the up to 4 tiny contents of a folder
on top of an actual drawing of a folder) from Explorer and does not use a custom method to do that. This results
in incorrect background colouring. In addition there is no room for implementing a new look which will be TC
related and finally and most importantly there is no experimentation of possible speed gains from a custom
implementation or even better handling of folder contents item extraction via let's say installed plug-ins.

So, I was wondering if someone with the proper experience is willing to go down that road! ;)
