XP, singleclickstart and brief view annoying autoscroll

Hi,
I just moved to XP Pro SP2 from Win98SE. Now under XP in the Brief view when I move the mouse pointer over a column of filenames that is only half-visible, the listbox starts scrolling. Is there a way to avoid this behavior and not to automatically scroll the listbox?

For me it only scrolls if I click on the half visible column. So it is probably related to the mouse settings.

Do you use singleclickstart=1?

No I do not. With singleclickstart it scrolls here too while I'm hovering over the half visible name.

So to prevent this you'll have to use singleclickstart=0, I guess. While it is XP Listbox behavior that cannot be detoured by TC.

Thanks. Until someone has a better idea, I am using BriefViewWidthLimit=251...

It's unfortunately a bug in the XP implementation of the listbox: Even if TC tells the listbox to NOT scroll the item entirely into view, it is still scrolled...
