There is no OFFICIAL non-checksum checking version. This would be a cracked version and please don't ask for illegal software on this forum.

There is an unpacked version of totalcmd.exe,
see here: http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=6020
but it still has the checksums (EvilCracker made an error in his first post saying it does not have any checksums)

Christian Ghisler accepts the fact that home users can use the program unregistered forever. See http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=20985#20985

Use TC for a few years. Than decide if TC is worth your money. If it is, save up the money and buy it!
If you are already using TC for years now, it probably gave you a lot more value than the price you have to pay to register.

Personally I have considered registering TC again, because it gave me so much value.

I think Christian Ghisler rather makes great software than to struggle with crackers.

white, I never asked for cracked software nor am I looking for it. There is no reason to explode.

The reason I am asking for unpacked version is because, I tried to unpack it myself (using upx -d switch), but apparentely the unpacked exe's checksums don't match with the packed one. I have found the unpacked version (unpack32_tcmd650.exe) on plugins.ghisler.com, and it works fine (updated checksums that correspond to unupxed version). The packed version does not work well on our university system (they are running some kind of fascist software that monitors every process on the system), and I hoped the unpacked version would not crash.
