change the order of Contextmenu-entry - possible?

Post by *Sheepdog »

When i use the context menu for TABs I mostly want to close a TAB.

Thus it were convenient (for me) to put the according entry at top of the menu. Is this possible?

AFAIK this is not possible at the time. I would like this possibility too! (Though I mostly use CTRL+W for that).
I think at least hotkeys (the usual underlined menu thingies) should be added to this menu, so you could use right click, [letter] to have faster acces to the menu entries.

I did assume that the order is arranged in the regoistry and hoped that someone knows where. ;)

Hard-coded---

:) Hello Stefan !
- I don't think this is defined in the registry, but rather hard-coded in the program itself…

Even though i almost always use Ctrl-W for closing a tab, this also annoyed me sometimes.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Agree! In the meantime you might add your own ampersands (&) in these lines of WCMD_ENG.LNG:
1539="Duplicate this tab\tCtrl+T"
1540="Close this tab\tCtrl+W"
1541="Close all tabs"
1542="Copy tab to other panel"
1543="Rename/Lock tab"
1544="Lock this tab"
1545="Save tabs to file"
1546="Load tabs from file, keep current"
1547="Load tabs from file, replace tabs"
1568="Save tabs on both sides to file"
1569="Locked, but directory changes allowed"
1571="Close duplicate tabs"

Sheepdog,
Maybe "Close tab on double click" would help a bit?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Thanks for this Tip! I didn't think of that.
