[REQ] Displaying free disk space in disk dropdown list

Hi,

I like to ask for displaying a remaining disk space behind the disk label in the dropdown list of disks shown after Alt+F1 and Alt+F2 keypress.

This would be TOO slow or, if you prefer, would slowdown TC a lot. This is one of the reasons to not show even the drive's label for removable media.

I don't think so. For example Servant Salamander (www.altap.cz) has this option and there is not any significant slowdown. Also, while switching between harddisks in total commander, there is no delay in the title showing free space next to the disk dropdown box. So there has to be any way how to make it.

The freespace hasn't to be calculated, only reported.
So, I have nothing against that feature, would be quite useful.
