can't see home directory in Linux

Post by *ismanpa »

Hello,
I can't see the contents of my /home directory in Linux. I sed to see it with ext2fs, but after a new installation of Mandrake 10.1 Official Ican only see /home as empty. Other directories where I have added files are all right. Also, hda7 is also empty. I used to see the contents before.
Thank you in advance!

/home may be just a link to a different partition, this is often used by Linux to separate programs and user data.
hda7 is also empty. I used to see the contents before.
I haven't seen that problem yet - maybe it's using a different file system?
