A small suggestion for tabs.
I love the new [locked, but directory changes allowed] tab type, and is the only locked type I use. One thing that could make my life a little easier is to be able to single click on the Tab name and if the tab is already in focus make it revert to it's tab-root path (or maybe a double click (given that imo nobody would want to close locked tabs fast)).
Cheers.
Cheers.

"" button at the top of panel does it. Is it inconveniently?JackFoo wrote:...or maybe a double click...

No Sir, i don't forgot my glasses!
But for me the "\" button is inconveniently - too small. Especially when you are in a hurry and you have to be fast. A tab header is at minimum two thirds wider and easier to find, because it is focused. You also would have the same behaviour as you get, when you are clicking on a drive button (with AlwaysToRoot=1 in windcmd.ini). So to me the single click on the tab header makes sense and like JackFoo I would also appreciate to have this feature.
And though I'm a great fan of shortcut's and using them a lot, I also have a nice mouse here, which I'm using very often, e.g. when my left hand wants to relax a little bit...

I think that too, but unfortunately the Windows TAB control does NOT report such a click...A single click on the tab header would be the best solution for this request, i guess.

If you can not handle click on tab how are you handle doble click for tab closing? Or may be I don't understand something... Windows can handle even click on empty space to the right of tabs.ghisler(Author) wrote:I think that too, but unfortunately the Windows TAB control does NOT report such a click...

As you can see there are ONLY routines for mouse up and down
but not for things like single/double-click so Christian had to choose
Double-Click for closing the tab was imho the best choice as for going to
root allready exists a Button and a ShortCut
2nd Mouse-Events are handled by the PRGs not by Windows - Windows only sents Messages...
Hoecker sie sind raus!
I suppose if there are routines for mouse up and down anyone can create routines for click and double click. What is the problem?Sir_SiLvA wrote:there are ONLY routines for mouse up and down

I meant to say: It's possible in Windows to handle click... Sorry my inaccuracy.Sir_SiLvA wrote:Mouse-Events are handled by the PRGs not by Windows
