Video files in thumbnail view

Hi all,

in thumbnail view just filetype icon is shown for video files (mpg, avi, wmv, ...).
Is it possible to show first frame for these files instead?

This depends on what you use for displaying thumbs...
MCI, IrfanView, ..., etc

Edit: and on the type of movies .avi gives me previews .mkv's not...
