have any method to classify my files

Post by *chunwaihome »

Hi
It is because my one partition has many movies file about 100,i find it is hard to find the file i need.
Thus,I want to classify these to different category e.g. comedy, av etc...
At that time, i can only show comedy or av.
Write these as comment or other methods
Is it possible do it?
thx

Orginally I wanted to suggest you to use simple subdirectories for your movies. But then you can assign only one "property to movie".
Better solution will be to define comment for each directory (I expect each your movie has its own directory - if not, simply apply it directly to files) file->edit comment (Ctrl-Z). Then search (Alt-F7) in tab plugins you can make condition like
Property=comment
OP=contains
Value=comedy ....or whatever you want (you can use regexp here as well)
