CD-Tree navigation question

Post by *Valery_Kondakoff »

Hi!

There is a question about locating the directory in the CD-Tree. So, I'm opening the Tree (cm_CDtree), typing some letters and pressing 'Ctrl+Enter' to move cursor to the next match.

The question: how can I go back to the previous match. The most logical is to use 'Ctrl-Shift-Enter', but this functionality does not seems to be implemented.

Any suggestions?

2Christian: what do you think about this? Can you implement this in the future TC builds?

Thank you!

When you have still opened quick search window you can use arrows up and down to navigate through all matching files instead of Ctrl-Enter

Maybe you are you talking about 'Find files'? I was asking about 'Quick search' in Directory Tree window. When I use 'Up/Down Arrow' in this window the search result is cleared, so it is impossible to go back to the next or previous matching result...

Ah, got it: you are talking about the File panel Tree ( Alt+F8 ). And the question was about the dialog box with the current directory tree (Alt+F10).

Yes, Quick search: I have defined invocation on Alt-Letter (you know old style from NC times :-) ) instead of default Ctrl-Alt-Letter:
Let's say I have files (with directories in tree it is the same)
abc
bbc
bcc
ccc

I press Alt-B -> Quick Search window appear and file "bbc" get focus. Now using arrows up and down will get focus bcc or bbc (Quick Search is still there). Ctrl-Enter works exactly as Arrow-Down
