TC6.51, Unicode - still some way to go

Post by *Kaens Bard »

TC is great, &u know that :D

Anyway, here's that little bug:

When F7-ing a folder (or trying to use any of content plugins currently available), if u input any unicode symbols it all goes down to question marks and WideCharToOem-like simplifications... In case of folder names, one can change them with Shift-F6. In case of uni-symbols within tags, nothing can be done. ...or not?

Thanks.

That'd be really great making use of Japanese command lines for example... (and checking my own soft in understanding aspects :) )

To create folders with unicode names, you need to first create an English folder, and then rename it with Shift+F6.

I know (cf. first post) but isn't it a poor & time-consuming solution?..
